The Making Of

All game assets were designed from scratch, including the board layout, three unique card types, and a fully branded box. I created custom illustrations, built textures by hand, and carefully styled each card type to reflect its role in gameplay. The physical prototype was assembled using printed assets mounted onto chipboard, with hand-cut details and hot glue used to add gritty, tactile textures to the box exterior. I also crafted small game pieces using hot glue to give them an eerie, handmade look that ties into the game’s unsettling atmosphere.

AR Add-on Experience

As a final twist, players unlock an augmented reality tower through Adobe Aero when completing the game. This hidden element reveals a 3D animated structure that rises virtually above the board, serving as a haunting visual reward and narrative finale—blurring the line between physical and digital storytelling.
