✶ about me!

"I made game pieces out of hot glue and called it branding."

hey, i’m mani pirmoradi. i am a toronto-based graphic designer with a love for maximalism, branding, and anything that feels a little chaotic in the best way.

my work leans into print, marketing, and mixed media, often pulling from y2k aesthetics, diy culture, and the visual overload of the 2000s.

i’m especially drawn to projects that let me play with collage, scrapbook-style layouts, and bold visual storytelling. if it involves layers, textures, or a hot glue gun, i’m probably into it.

i like making things that feel loud, nostalgic, and a little bit unhinged, but always intentional!

✶ tools i use
✶ my design process
adobe illustrator, photoshop, indesign, figma, miro, webflow, after effects, my brain, glue sticks, scissors, and too many google docs
starts with a mess — always. pinterest, half-thought ideas, random screenshots, sticky notes. i sketch, write, collect inspo, and then start throwing stuff on a page until it clicks.i design with emotion and instinct first, strategy second — but both matter. i don’t always follow the grid, but i respect the grid. the chaos is calculated (most of the time).
✶ music i like
✶ fun facts
i’m all over the place but mainly blink-182, role model, avril lavigne, paramore, fall out boy, conan grey, mgk, arctic monkeys, dominic fike, green day, my chemical romance, 5sos, valley, wallows, olivia rodrigo, and many many others!
i'm fluent in english and persian, I used to make books and board games out of paper and cardboard as a kid, and I'd also force my cousins and my friends to star in my indie movies.
